Transposition without the music degree
A karaoke track two semitones too high, a guitar backing loop in the wrong key, a choir recording that needs to sit lower: pitch shifting fixes all of them without touching the tempo. QuietPix shifts the frequency and compensates the timing in one FFmpeg pass, on your device.

Frequently asked questions
Does changing pitch change the speed?
No. The pitch is shifted and the tempo is compensated back, so a 3-minute song stays 3 minutes, just higher or lower.
What is a semitone?
The distance between two adjacent piano keys. +2 moves a song up a whole tone (C to D); -4 drops it two whole tones. Singers usually transpose by 1-4 semitones.
Is my audio uploaded?
No. The shift runs in your browser through WebAssembly FFmpeg.
Why would I shift pitch?
Matching a backing track to your vocal range, practicing an instrument in an easier key, or fixing a recording that ended up slightly off-key.
