The photo you share says more than you think
A phone photo usually records where it was taken, down to a few meters. Marketplace listings, social media, rental applications: every shared photo can expose your home, workplace or daily route. QuietPix reads that metadata on your device, shows it to you plainly, and strips it without ever seeing your photo.

What is EXIF data and why should I care?
Photos carry hidden metadata: GPS coordinates of where you took them, your camera or phone model, the exact time, sometimes the software you used. Share a photo and you may share your home address with it.
How does the removal work?
The photo is re-encoded on your device at high quality. The pixels survive, the metadata does not. Our automated tests verify that cleaned files contain no EXIF bytes.
Is my photo uploaded to read its metadata?
No. Reading and cleaning both happen inside your browser. A tool that uploads your photo to "check its privacy" would be a contradiction.
Does cleaning reduce image quality?
JPG and WebP are re-encoded at quality 95, which is visually identical for photos. PNG is lossless. Dimensions never change.
