Does this QR code ever expire?
Never. It is a static code: your link or text is encoded directly into the pattern. Nothing to renew, no trial that ends, no service that has to stay alive.
Why do QR codes from other generators stop working?
Many "free" generators give you a dynamic code that redirects through their server, then disable it when the trial ends to sell a subscription. A static code has no middleman to die.

What can I encode?
