How do I merge videos into one file?

Can I mix formats and resolutions?
Yes. MP4, WebM, MOV and more can be combined. The first video defines the frame; smaller or differently-shaped clips are scaled and letterboxed into it, so nothing gets stretched.
What happens to the audio?
Audio tracks are normalized and joined along with the video. If one of the clips has no audio at all, the whole result is joined without sound — an honest silent video instead of a failed job.
What is the output quality?
H.264 MP4 at quality factor 23 and 30 fps, capped at 1280 pixels wide — plays everywhere and posts everywhere. For a specific file size afterwards, run it through our video compressor.
Is there a length or size limit?
No fixed limit. Your device does the encoding, so longer footage simply takes longer. Phone clips and screen recordings join in roughly real time on a modern laptop.
