Under 16 MB you can send as a normal video message. For zero recompression by WhatsApp, send the compressed MP4 as a document; it arrives byte-identical.
Will iPhone and Android both play it?
Yes. Output is H.264 MP4 with AAC audio, the one combination every phone plays.
Is my video uploaded to compress it?
No. Everything runs in your browser through WebAssembly FFmpeg. Compressing a private clip for a chat does not require trusting a converter server with it.
